The Golden State Cup is one of Northern California’s premier youth soccer tournaments, bringing together top teams from across the region for a weekend of elite competition, player development, and unforgettable soccer experiences.
The Elk Grove Soccer Golden State Cup offers teams the opportunity to compete against some of the region’s best clubs while enjoying one of the most professionally run tournaments in Northern California. Open to U8–U19 boys and girls competitive teams, the Golden State Cup delivers outstanding competition, excellent facilities, and an unforgettable soccer experience for players, coaches, and families alike.

Can I play on more than one roster?
No, you are only allowed to play on one roster.
Can I bring my pets to the fields?
To help ensure a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly environment for all participants, pets are not permitted at any Elk Grove Soccer facility or tournament venue. This includes dogs, cats, or any other animals, regardless of whether they are leashed. The only exception is for documented service animals.
This policy applies to all areas of the facility, including parking lots, fields, sidelines, walkways, spectator areas, and pavilions.
The safety of our players, coaches, referees, volunteers, and spectators is our top priority. Even well-behaved pets can become stressed or unpredictable in a busy tournament environment with large crowds, loud noises, and athletic activity.
To ensure compliance, tournament staff and referees may delay the start or continuation of matches until unauthorized animals have been removed from the facility. Individuals who do not comply with this policy may be asked to leave the tournament grounds.

Do you have schedule changes?
Tournament schedules will be finalized and published 5 days prior to the start of the event. Once released, schedules are considered final, and no additional changes will be made.
I'm coaching more than one team during the tournament. Can scheduling conflicts be accommodated?
Yes. Elk Grove Soccer will make every reasonable effort to accommodate coaches who are assigned to multiple teams during the tournament. To assist with scheduling, coaches must identify all teams they are coaching during the registration process or notify the Tournament Director before the scheduling deadline. While every effort will be made to avoid conflicts, accommodations cannot be guaranteed.
What fields could my team play at?
How do I check-in?
The Elk Grove Soccer Golden State Cup utilizes online team check-in only. All required documents must be submitted and approved by the online check-in deadline listed on the tournament homepage.
Online check-in will become available once your team has been officially accepted into the tournament.
Guest Player Deadline
Please note that all guest players must be added to your official tournament roster by the online check-in deadline. No guest players may be added or roster changes made after the deadline. Teams are encouraged to plan ahead and ensure all roster information is complete before submitting online check-in.
Failure to complete online check-in by the published deadline may result in your team being ineligible to participate in the tournament.
I have USYS and US Club cards - which one can I use?
Teams must compete under their registered affiliation (USYS or US Club Soccer). Guest players must also be registered with the same governing organization as the team.
