Advanced Development Program
About the Program
Elk Grove Soccer’s Advanced Development Program (ADP) is a supplemental training program designed for motivated players in the U7 through U19 age groups who are currently participating in Elk Grove Soccer’s Recreation, Future Stars, NPL, ECNL Regional League, or Academy programs.
The ADP provides players with additional opportunities to accelerate their technical development in a challenging, player-centered learning environment. Sessions are led by Elk Grove Soccer’s experienced coaching staff and are designed to complement each player’s team training by focusing on individual skill development, decision-making, and game understanding.
Players will train in an age and ability-appropriate environment, receiving high-quality instruction, individualized coaching points, and targeted feedback that supports long-term player growth and confidence on the ball.
The ADP is offered in 16-week training program at a cost of $229 per player.
Spring 2027 Sessions:
- Elk Grove: Sessions take place on in Elk Grove Jan 11 – May 21 from 6:30-7:45PM.
ADP - Refund & Amendment Policy
Registration Cancellations
- 15+ days from start of program = full refund
- 8-14 days from the start of program = 50% refund
- 7 or less days from the start of camp = no refund

Registration Changes
Any participant wishing to change their registration must do so at least 8 days prior to the scheduled start date of the first training. Any change request received 7 or less days from the start of first training will not be approved.

ADP - Weather Policy
As an outdoor training program, all ADP sessions are scheduled to take place outside. In the event of inclement weather, participants will be moved to a safe sheltered area (such as a pavilion or designated indoor facility, where available) while coaches monitor conditions. Training will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
During periods of extreme heat, coaches will modify activities as needed and provide additional water and recovery breaks to ensure a safe training environment for all players.
If a session is canceled due to weather, refunds will not be issued for individual cancellations. However, if two or more sessions are canceled because of weather and makeup sessions cannot be scheduled, Elk Grove Soccer will provide participants with either a partial refund or program credit, at the club’s discretion.
Players interested in our Advanced Player Development Program must create an account in PlayMetrics to register. Parents or guardians should create an account in their name and add each child as a participant. Existing players will just need to login to their accounts.
