The Elite Competitive Program is designed for players who want to take the next step beyond recreational soccer in a fun, challenging, and supportive environment. It offers a higher level of training and competition for players who are passionate about the game, enjoy learning new skills, and want to continue developing without the year-round commitment of Elk Grove Soccer’s MLS NEXT, ECNL Regional League, or Platinum programs.
Players are introduced to a more structured training environment where they develop technical skills, tactical awareness, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the game while competing against similarly motivated players from across Northern California. The emphasis is on individual improvement, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fostering a lifelong love of soccer.
The Elite Competitive Program also provides players with the opportunity to build lasting friendships, create memorable experiences, and become part of a team environment that encourages personal growth both on and off the field. Whether a player’s goal is to continue competing at a higher level, prepare for future opportunities within Elk Grove Soccer’s player pathway, or simply enjoy the game in a more competitive setting, the Elite Competitive Program offers the perfect balance of development, competition, and fun.

Elk Grove Soccer has a proven history of helping players achieve their collegiate soccer goals. The club has consistently placed players at every level of collegiate soccer—from NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III to NAIA and junior college programs.
Under the leadership of Elk Grove Soccer’s Technical Department, more than 200 players have advanced to collegiate soccer, including 23 players from the club’s two most recent graduating classes. In addition, Elk Grove Soccer has developed numerous Youth National Team players and former players who have gone on to sign professional contracts in the United States and abroad.
Whether a player’s goal is to compete at the collegiate, professional, or international level, Elk Grove Soccer provides the coaching, competition, guidance, and exposure needed to maximize every player’s opportunities.
The Elite Program is designed for players who are looking for a competitive soccer experience with a balanced commitment.
Training twice per week, the program provides a high-quality development environment for players who want to continue improving their technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall enjoyment of the game while balancing school, other sports, or family commitments. Led by experienced Elk Grove Soccer coaches, players participate in purposeful training sessions and competitive league play that encourage confidence, teamwork, and personal growth.
The Elite Program offers an excellent pathway for players who want to develop in a positive, challenging environment without the demands of a higher-commitment program, while still providing opportunities to progress within the Elk Grove Soccer player pathway as they continue to grow and develop.
