Elk Grove Soccer’s Competitive Program offers a player-centered environment that combines quality coaching, meaningful competition, and a balanced commitment level. Players are challenged to develop their technical, tactical, physical, and personal potential while progressing along the pathway that best fits their goals.
Elk Grove Soccer’s Competitive Program is designed for players ready to take the next step beyond recreational soccer. Our program combines high-quality coaching, competitive training and match environments, and a clear player pathway designed to support development at every stage.
Players are evaluated and placed into the environment that best matches their current ability, commitment, and development needs. The Competitive Program is organized into four distinct levels: MLS NEXT, ECNL-RL Girls, Platinum, and Elite.
Each level provides players with the opportunity to develop, compete, and progress within the Elk Grove Soccer pathway.
Please see competitive programs below.
The Highest Level of Boys Competition
Elk Grove Soccer’s MLS NEXT program provides our top boys with an elite player development environment and the opportunity to compete against leading clubs and players from across the country. Designed for players with aspirations to reach the highest levels of the game, MLS NEXT combines elite coaching, a demanding training environment, national competition, showcases, and pathways toward collegiate, professional, and national team opportunities.
The Highest Level of Girls Competition
Elk Grove Soccer’s ECNL Regional League Girls program provides ambitious female players with a high-level competitive environment focused on long-term player development and performance. Players compete against strong regional opposition while gaining access to showcase opportunities and a pathway designed to prepare them for continued advancement within the game.
Competitive Soccer. Continued Development.
The Elite Program provides players with a strong competitive environment that balances development, competition, and commitment.
Players receive professional coaching and compete against appropriately matched opposition while continuing to build the technical, tactical, physical, and personal qualities necessary to progress within the Elk Grove Soccer pathway.
Elite provides an important bridge between recreational soccer and the club’s higher competitive levels, giving motivated players an environment where they can continue to develop and challenge themselves.
Advanced Competitive Player Development
The Platinum Program is designed for players seeking a challenging, high-performance environment with an increased commitment to training, competition, and individual development. Platinum teams compete at advanced levels within the Northern California soccer landscape while providing players with high-quality coaching, competitive matches, showcase opportunities, and a pathway toward Elk Grove Soccer’s highest levels of competition.
