When you arrive at the field please look for the Elk Grove Soccer Canopy – this will have the Elk Grove Soccer Logo and the age group and gender. For example – 2018B. Go to the tent that matches the birthyear of your child and gender. Ask to check in. The staff will check you in and give you a pinnie. Go to the field once checked in – you will sandwich boards with age groups on them.

Treat this as a normal soccer training session – bring the usual items – ball, suitable shorts/jerseys, warmup, boots (soccer cleats), water. 

Our staff usually have an email (registration invite if you have made the team) sent to the email that was used to register for the tryout within 24 hours – 48 hours at the very max. Please check this email. 

Due to the high numbers we have at tryouts we offer you a place and leave it open for 24 hours from sending the email. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours, we are unable to keep your offer open longer due to the high number on the waitlists. 

Yes, there is to qualified individuals. Please check the information when you register. There is a financial aid window that is open through June 30.

Our MLS next teams train 3-4 times per week. Our older competitive teams train 3 days per week and our youngest teams train 2 days per week. We have something for everyone in our competitive program. 

CSD Control our field allocation but we try to keep it as: 

Boys: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:00–6:15 PM

Girls: Monday & Wednesday, 5:00–6:15 PM

Training will begin the week of May 25. Your coach will reach out via PlayMetrics (our communication app) with more details soon.

Our primary training location is Hal Bartholomew Sports Park. We also use additional grass fields throughout Elk Grove, primarily on the west side of town.

Games are scheduled during the fall season (August–December) and are mostly played on Saturdays.

• Younger players typically play in the mornings

   

• Older players usually play in the afternoons

We also play in the spring from early March to mid may. 

• About half the games are played in Elk Grove

   

• The rest are in the Sacramento region

   

• The furthest you may travel at this level is Folsom

   

• In the U13 and older age groups, there may be more travel involved as

• Summer Break: End of June through end of July

   

• Winter Break: Mid-December through mid-January
  

Thanksgiving Week: One week off

Outside of these breaks, teams train year-round

• U8–U10: We offer Elite teams, which train 2x per week
