Elk Grove Soccer Recreational soccer program is open to boys and girls of all levels of ability. There are no player evaluations or tryouts - everyone who registers is placed on a team (where available). Many players who are interested in trying out for competitive teams begin their training by building a solid foundation in our recreational program.
Elk Grove Soccer offers Recreational Soccer for ages 6 through 18 in the entire Elk Grove Area. Rec soccer is offered in the Fall (August - November) and the Spring (February - May) seasons. U6-U18 Teams practice two evening per week and typically play one game on Saturday throughout an 10-week season. We provide our volunteer coaches with coaching clinics, licensing, structured lessons plans and assistance on the field from Elk Grove Soccer Staff Coaches. In addition to team practices, we offer optional, technical skills training sessions for ages U6 to U18 in our Elk Grove Soccer Competitive Program. The training sessions are run by experienced coaches and give interested players more opportunity to develop and improve age appropriate skills. Recreational level camps are offered in the summer and fall, and pre-season clinics are also offered (Additional fees apply).
Topsoccer is a program for players ages 4 and up who have a physical and/ or developmental disability. Our program is based on skill level and not age. Topsoccer creates an opportunity for players to be part of our Elk Grove soccer community, where they can grow physically and emotionally and connect with coaches and buddies to share the joy of playing soccer.
We welcome volunteers and buddies to help. No prior experience with working special needs children or soccer.
Fall Registration is $50.00.
