PRACTICE GUIDELINES

DAILY PLAYER
CHECK UP

Every player should go through the daily player check up before coming to practice.
Do I have:
Cough
Loss of smell/taste
Shortness of breath
Temperature higher than –
For a typical adult, body temperature can be anywhere from 97F – 99F. Babies and children can have a little higher range 97.9F – 100.4F. If yes, please stay home and away from training.

PERSONAL
HYGIENE

All players need their own water bottle – to avoid issue, add your name to it. The best practices are well known, wash your hands, don’t touch your face, and, if you have to cough/sneeze, do so into your elbow.

TRAVELING TO
PRACTICE

Please, whenever possible, try to travel with family members only.

3 STEP PROTOCOL FOR SAFER PRACTICES

ENTRANCE
& EXITS

Overview: Similar to a school drop off. The club will setup a one way in and one way out of practice.

Reasoning: This will help alleviate the issue of crowd gathering and limit interaction.

Notes: No parents and spectators will be allowed on the field/inside the complex until we have the all green (see below).

PRACTICE
ISOLATION

Overview: Each year the club uses 56 fields. Our aim is to limit the number of teams on each field.

Reasoning: Restricting the number of players in direct contact will help stop the spread.

Notes: No parents and spectators will be allowed on the field/inside the complex until we have the all green (see below).

COACH/PLAYER
SCREENING

Overview: Coaches and players should have their temperature taken prior to coming to each session.

Reasoning: To create the safest environment possible for our players and staff.

Notes: Temperature should be taken daily at home using a touchless thermometer.

PLAYER
SAFETY

To and from fields: Please can wear a mask when arriving to the field and leaving.

Social Distancing: All activities are to focus on individual fitness and skills training for the groups in a socially distant environment when feasible.

Equipment: Players will handle and care for their own equipment. Staff or volunteers will sanitize their equipment when possible.

The club will always put player’s safety at the forefront of our decisions.
