Academic Achievements
At the end of my sophomore year I was invited to join and now am a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

Sporting Achievements
I have experience playing in the National Premier League (NPL) Champions League and the Elite Academy (EA). I have played in many challenging tournaments and National Showcases such as Juventus Cup, Manchester City Cup, Davis College Showcase, Surf Cup College Showcase 2022 (where we were finalists), and the NPL College Showcase (where we went undefeated). I have traveled to England where we played several academy teams and came out victorious.

Extracurricular Activities
During my free time I enjoy helping youth learn the sport of soccer. I have helped train youth players at the Future Stars Program through Elk Grove Soccer.

Community Service Work
During the holidays I volunteer at the local food bank and have helped serve food to the elderly.

Employment
I currently work with Elk Grove Soccer to help build, line, and maintain soccer fields. My duties include measuring and building fields to proper field size specifications, using a chalk painter to create straight, accurate, and visible soccer field lines, and mowing and maintaining fields as necessary. I have been doing soccer field maintenance since 2019. I also work part-time (6-10 hours a week) as a delivery driver for a local Machine Shop. Some of my duties include timely delivery and pick up of work, ensuring products are loaded and unloaded in a safe manner, collecting payments, filing invoices, and providing customer service. I have been working at the Machine Shop since 2022.

I currently play in NPL and EA leagues. I have played in tournaments such as the Davis showcase and San Diego Surf Cup, where we made the finals of the tournament.

Employment
I am currently working as a babysitter for about 20 hours a week for a two kid. I work 3-4 days a week.

Dog Walking/Running–as a Dog Walker/Runner for various families in neighborhood, taking dogs through neighborhood and nearby park (depending on dog, sometimes stop to play fetch) to exercise them for owners when owners are out of town or do not have time to exercise dog (usually 30 min. to 1 hour per walk, sometimes daily for up to two months straight)
Pet Sitting–as a Pet Sitter for various families in neighborhood, feed and water pets twice a day, play with and walk certain pets, administer medications on specific time schedules, and clean up soiled areas daily (care of dogs, cats, fish, birds / sometimes sitting for multiple pets at a time / duration varies from days to weeks to months depending on owner need)
Recycling–Recycle plastic bottles for a family that needs extra assistance with this task because of volume of bottles used for medical condition (involves weekly pick-up from home and monthly deposit to recycling company)

Every week I volunteer at my church and dedicate time in helping the less fortunate in my community.

I have been playing the guitar and drums for over seven years. I have performed at my church and at several school events.

Community Service Work
In Sacramento we have a homeless issue. Through my church, we have formed an outreach group and helped feed the homeless each week.

Employment
After volunteering at my school as an admin assistant, I was hired part time to help in the office. This involves inputting data, managing schedules, and organizing and helping with the administration office at the school.

Sporting Achievements
I have played in many prestigious tournaments/Leagues including the EA Fall Showcase, NPL Inter Regionals, Manchester City Cup, Davis College Showcase, Surf Cup College Show Case, NPL Champions League, and the EA league. In the EA showcase as a defender I have kept a 1.3 GA record in 3 games, and a 1.28 GA record in 7 games for my NPL League.

Extracurricular Activities
For my School I have been in Leadership where I have made posters, directed School Dances, Participated in the Franklin Parade, and helped clean up my campus. I’m also VP of the Poetic Justice Club where I run meetings and sit down and talk to approximately 50 students. During the Spring Season every Friday I go out and Help Elk Grove Soccer with their future stars program which consists of, setting up goals, fields, and coaching the little kids. I addition, I have helped out at the Elk Grove Jamboree where I would direct people to their parking spots, moved goals, and helped people leave.

Employment
I work with Elk Grove Soccer to help construct, and line my local soccer fields. I have been lining Soccer fields since 2021 where I work around (3-6) hours a week. During the Summer I have gone to work a Collins, Ritchie & Irvine LLP Law Firm in Sacramento California. The job consist of filing papers, organizing legal records, and cleaning. I work around (6-10) hours a week

Some of my sporting achievements are scoring 25 goals in 15 games this season. I have played and scored against European and American academies. I am also being recruited by multiple schools and was recently scouted to play in Argentina.

During the summer of 2022 is participated in the University of the Pacific’s pre-college Engineering program.

Extracurricular Activities
For the last five years, I have volunteered with an organization called Friends of Yimbo, a non-profit organization that works with the people of Yimbo village in western Kenya. I visit Kenya every other year. During my time in Kenya, I’ve assisted with soccer training for students ages 5-12 years old. I helped organize a soccer cleat drive and I assisted with a health clinic in the village.

I was nominated as an All-American player twice by ELk Grove Soccer.

Community Service Work
Each year I help organize soccer cleat drives for children in Yimbo, Kenya to provide cleats for their school teams. This involves reaching out to my coach as well as other groups for donations.

Employment
I currently work part-time (3 hours per week) as a psychologist’s assistant. Some of my job duties include: filing, sending reminders to patients for scheduled appointments, and checking in patients during their appointment times. I have held this position since June 2021.

Coming from Africa specifically eritrea adjusting to the country was very challenging because everything was new, new language, culture e.t.c, despite this, I have 4.0 GPA in every school in high school and now have 4.1 GPA

Sporting Achievements
I made Eritrea national team under 18 at the age of 14, I was one of the players in the nation. I also was a prominent figure in surf cup and made the finals, I also got 4 assists.

Talents and Awards
I got awarded best player in my age in the country in eritrea and made the national team.

I worked as an intern at Dillard elementary school helping children learn and help with activities around the school.
